Summer volunteer at Raulandakademiet

Follow the rythm of Telemark’s traditions’ pumping heart.

Now, imagine you are attending your last Bachelor’s semester and have no idea what to do when you graduate… (easy, right?). Within this context imagine having a conversation with a friend about Erasmus+ volunteer projects (…of which you never heard before). Okay, I could go on and invite you to imagine every step of a 5 months consideration, application and (surprise!!) acceptance process but I will skip directly to: it’s june 2016 and I am an EVS volunteer for HI Norway on a inside project in Rauland, Telemark.

I could launch into a detailed Game of Thrones-size description of my days and tasks or I could summarize it, as the perfect summer bliss: long sunny days with slow picturesque sunsets all surrounded by nature and spiced with the most delicious food I’ve ever had….ahem…I said I could. Instead I will just let you see for yourselves and maybe even inspire your future decisions.

Last, but in no way least, I participated in -and learned much from- one of the courses. ❤
